yes, im also using the same version. i just receive a message from my provider that a new software for 6680 has been released. i'm going to nokia care and find out whats new in this revision, if it is worth to upgrade.. inform you later

yes.. confirm! there's new software revision for N6680. i just sent my one for upgrade. dont know the revision number yet, they took my unit and will be collected tomorrow. will keep you posted..

Got my 6680 about 10 days ago from vodafone.

Just one week before i upgrad my 6680 in Chennai India Thru Nokia Care. New firmware version is
V 3.04.37

- New RAM memory management scheme to improve phone behaviour in
low memory situations when using multiple applications at the same time.

in standby mode corrected
- Clock

- Robustness of Real One Player improved to handle files where audio

The phone was from Hong Kong, not purchased here in U.S

Thanks for the highlighting the latest software for Nokia 6680. Can u pls tell me from where can i download this firmware ? I tried from Nokia but its bit complicated for me. I am noivce in this feild of Nokia 6680. I have version3.04.11 RM 36. Is it worth installing the latest version.? Thanks

Without breaking laws (legally) you can't download it from anywhere. Firmware files are copyrighted by Nokia and as things are today, they are only distributed to authorized Nokia service/repair centers.

And the files alone without relatively expensive flashing equipment won't do anything for you, anyway.

So, locate your nearest Nokia service center and take/send your phone there for having it flashed with whatever is the latest firmware version for your phone.

I have a phone shop, i get latest firmwares from Nokia.

You need a proper equipment to update fw on Nokia phones. You just cant download and do it your self at home.

Nokia service centre can do that for you.

CPW are bit slow to get latest fw.
