I have a registered version of Smartmovie installed on my memory card for my N-Gage Classic. My question is, will my N-Gage QD be able to use Smartmovie from the memory card although Smartmovie is registered to the IMEI of my Classic? I'd check myself, but my QD hasn't gotten here yet.

You need a new registration key from the developer.

I think it will also work on QD. You just install codec then it should work well.
