Controversial, probably, but I've updated my Grid of 'real world mobile computing solutions', which now includes the new Nokia 7710 and the fairly new Nokia 6630. All comments welcome!
Grid update
A couple of suggestions:
* A section for eBook friendliness - its one of the main uses of PDAs these days.
* Possibly a section for Powerpoint, if you're going to cover Office applications.
* Ease of typing - most of the PDAs listed have a keyboard in some form.
One minor beef:
I'd disagree with the 0 points for the Sendo on the Spreadsheet section - Quickoffice can allow you to view Excel speadsheets (or if you have a very certain version, edit them as well. Same goes for Word documents).

Sendo? Are you sure you're not looking at an old version of the page? The Sendo X was removed from the table after I became disillusioned by its old OS. Not the X's fault, but developers tend to assume a more recent OS and things like Quickoffice don't (without hacking) work on it. I replaced it with the Nokia 6630.

Nope, its definately an X up there - could you check the link?

Yep, checked the link. Where exactly on the page does it say 'Sendo X'? Either I'm blind, or I'm mad, or there's some cache trickery going on at your end!
try using Ctrl-Refresh.

Aaahh - there we go. Any plans to update the Tungsten E to the E2? The added bluetooth could be a deciding factor for many.

Yes, I'm going to add the Treo 650 and E2 shortly. And maybe the Nokia 6680, which I'm getting for review tomorrow... (gloats quietly 8-) )

If any Javascript wizards are reading this, what would be really nice would be an interactive version of the page, so that users could enter their own weightings and have the page multiply up the individual feature scores and produce machine results. But I'm not clever enough!

Steve,
You rated the P910 a 10 in contacts. How can you do that when the P910 doesn't sync birthdays with M$ Outlook?!
I am a BIG P910 fan and have replaced my PSION ser. 5 mx with a 910a.
Just can't agree with the 10 rating on contacts.
Cheers,
Richard

Well, it syncs all the main fields perfectly, handles notes, etc. I bet less than 1% of people actually use Outlook's (non-standard? - is it in the vCard definition?) 'birthday' field. Sorry!
Steve
My comment that the Psion Series 5mx is, by far, the best device on the 'Grid' for word-processing remains.
This regardless, the Grid is the best such comparison to date.
