i am now planning to buy either an n-gage or a qd...i have chosen n-gage over the qd because i want to listen to music from it, but i like the qd's design better..i have already downloaded ultramp3 for symbian, but i'm quite skeptical if it would work on a qd..(if ever i chose to buy that!)help me out guys..thankz..
help me out..i'm new here..
UltraMP3 will work on the QD, but it (or any MP3 player) will only play in mono on the QD.
Of those two, I'd take the original N-Gage any time myself (it also has USB and FM Radio, which the QD lacks).

thankz dude...i appreciate ur help..u made me feel i made the right choice..
With the N-Gage's a couple of things to watch out for:
Do not install applications or send big files over Bluetooth to your phone so that the phone memory (the C-drive) fills up. If that happens, the phone won't boot and have to be reflashed at a Nokia repair center.
And, do not install an application called "WildSkinz" on your phone (the only phone where it works is the 7650 and on all others you end up in a state where you can only type/enter numbers, but not text).
FExplorer (http://www.gosymbian.com/) will tell you how much space you have and help with file management in other ways, too.
Also, any Series 60 software for Series 60 1.2/Symbian OS 6.1 should work on the N-Gage.
Any Series 60 software for newer versions (Series 60 2.x/Series 60 2nd Edition, etc.) may not run on the N-Gage.
Make frequent backups (with the N-Gage PC Suite to your PC if you have Bluetooth, or to an MMC card with the built in "Memory" app; see the "Options" menu in it).
wow...that's a load of info u threw my way there...thanks a lot..u just game me some preventive maintenance tips there...hope u got more to come..thanks dude!!
