View Running Applications

I have a Nokia 7610. Being all fingers and thumbs I occassionally manage to leave an application without closing it. The application appears to continue running in the phones memory.

(I know this because I have tried to remove an application and it says I cannot because it is open - in the ned I had to turn the phone off and on).

Is there a way of scrolling / viewing and selecting applications that are open? but not currently in the foreground (on screen)

A long press of the menu key brings up the tasklist of running apps. You can use the list to bring any one of them to the foreground, or hit 'C' to stop them.
