Just got my X back from the menders (the mic problem) and I thought I'd check the firmware for upgrades etc... Now I'm no expert on this but the Sendo web site shows "Current:Version: X.1.98.5.2" and my phone reports: "X1.109.5.2"
My understanding is that I've got a more recent version than is on general release - have I got that right?

I've just received my new Sendo X today. Happy i am, my first smartphone 😊 As for HowlingWolf, my firmware is 1.109.5.2.
The first impression i've had after having switched it on is that it feels slow. I have never had a Sendo X or even a smartphone before so i can't compare but it somethimes takes a while for menus or tabs to appear and there is noticeable flickering on the Menu page. If the features are as good as i expect, i wouldn't mind these small problems though. Just wait and see.
wait til u guys get the mic problem, thats gonna really piss u off , cuz its been pissin me off since months now. only if sendo had made the mic better(never ever seen a phone with such a bullshit mic )then i would not bitch about the x at all.

Why not? If you buy a phone, it shouldn't be necessary to open it up and fix some hardware probs. It should work properly!
The firmware version you guys have is not a newer version than the one generally available - it is just an international one.
