Nokia 6680 - 256MB problem

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. I recently puchased a Nokia 6680 on the 3 network. I then bought a 256MB MMC. After putting it in my phone, I have since lost my Gallery. I am unable to view my videos or photos by using the Gallery (the phone menu simply flashes off then on). Luckily I was able to return my phone and have now got a new replacement.

The problem is, the place I bought the MMC card from says that the problem is with the firmware on the phone. I am afraid to put this card into my new phone as I don't want to lose the Gallery function again.

Does anyone know where I can update my firmware in London, UK?

Thanks for your help.

I've been using a 256MB Kingston DV RS-MMC (MMCmobile) card on my 6680 for a good while now. No disappearing Galleries.

Firstly, is yr 256MB RS-MMC a low-votage one? Coz Nokia 6680 only works with low-voltage MMC cards. Secondly, it might be due to the firmware software corruption. As now you can see, the newer version for the firmware has not arrived. Im not sure if London has it. U have to check directly from Nokia Care.

Any size you can find should work (largest one I have is 256MB). Largest dual-voltage RS-MMC type card on the market today is 512MB.
