Pc Suite + Mem + a whole lot of problems

I just bought a Pocket Oxford Dictionary. It has 2 files, 1 is the reader, and the other one is the Dictionary file ( about 3.1Mb).
I had no problem w/ installing the Reader, but when I tried to install the dictionary file ( I copied the .SIS file into the MMC card and tried to install from there), my n-gage said it didn't have enough memory ( even though I erased everything, and has 3000 Kb device memory left ).
Then I tried to install it from using the PC Suite. I don't have the original calbe, so I bought one from ebay. This is a USB cable and it worked very well ( I use it to transfer files from my PC to this N-gage ). After I install PC Suite, the MRouter doesn't work. Actually I don't know what it is for. There are 3 options to config: Com 1, com 3, infared ... which are useless since I'm using a USB one. Then I foudn there is an icon named Nokia Connection Manager. From there I can choose to activate USB connection. But even so, PC suite still can not regconize my Ngage. ( it said no connection ... ). ( I tried 2 versions of PC suite, one from the CD, one downloaed from Nokia website )
Can anyone help me with this?
Many thanks in advance,
Manh Nguyen

The N-Gage version of PC Suite does not work with USB at all, only Bluetooth.

That's because the USB connection actually goes directly to the memory card on the phone, and through it there is no access to internal phone memory that PC Suite needs to connect to.

so is there any other way to install a .sis file that's bigger than the device memory ? is there any software that extract the sis file directly into the MMC memory ?

In order to install a .sis file that is 3.1 megabytes, you have to have 3.1 megabytes of memory available. I don't see how you could install this dictionary on your phone without meeting those memory requirements. I have always installed these files from the "Installation and Java files" folder in the phone memory. I don't think this program is going to work for you, unless someone else knows something I don't...
