Need help please!

It is, in all likelihood, a program that has installed a so called recognizer and which one is not working well. So, use the "Manager" app to uninstall apps one by one and restart the phone in between each. When the error goes away, the last app you uninstalled was the culprit.

Your phone says app closed, so can you use any of the main program like menu, message...? If they are not work, you will can not control you phone at all. You can just press the number. The only one way to do with this problem is to press *#7370* called reformat.

Yap i'am able to access the menu's. but you said something about phone re-frmatting, is that working a lot? and is it all i have to press to do reformat at all?
Just in case i want to try re-formatting...

reformating is use to solve serious problem or having error in internal memory data. All data will be lost after reformat it. If you are using 3650,3660 or ngage or other same version of s60, to reformat it you just press *#7370# and 12345 to the security code, don't touch your phone and wait It's working about 3 minutes then you will see your new phone. Warning: make sure the battery is full during format the phone or your phone is gone.

If your phone is 6600 do there following to reformat it.
1. Turn the phone off
2. Press green talk key and hold + key num 3 + key * that all.
3. Turn the phone back on.
Remember that you have to be carefull or else you will never see your phone working again untill using griffin box to repaire.

I have my 6600 for a month now, and I love it, but and it happend twice already: suddenly I have this message 'App. closed phone', then next one is 'Start-up operation failed, contact retailer'. I was able to get it back to work by discontecting the battery for a second, but why it happens? I am not downloading anything, I just use my phone as a phone only, I use it in a car with Blue tooth. And if my method will not work next time, I don't have a warranty, I bought my phone on e-bay. It was new, but still, no warranty.
