Phone thinks it's got a head set attached

Hi all

I hope someone will be able to shed some light on my problem. For not apparent reason my phone thinks it has a headset attached. I don't have bluetooth turned on. I have reset to factory settings. I have turned the phone off and taken out the memory card and sim card but it still has the headset symbol on the main screen. If you change it from headset to loopset I get the loop set icon.

This has left me with a phone i can't make or take calls on which is very fustrating. Can anyone please help

Paul

lol! why don't you just get over to the closest nokia dealer and request a headset, just to plug-in and then plug it off! lol! tried it once! they agreed wid me!
