Hey guys, is there no program in Java for the 9210 for receiving pics etc? It does not seem as if Nokia is going to support this feature in future. We have to make a plan if they won't! Its a pitty that we pay so much and yet there is so much lacking..

Multi Media Messaging for 9210
In theory Multi-Media messaging should be coming in the next firmware release, but, it's not so important yet as no service provider has a pricing scheme set up that I have seen yet. So until we know how much it will cost us, there's no point getting worried about when we'll get it.

Here is something while we wait
Quote "Application for sending items between two 9210 devices directly, without storing them as a message. That allows you send big files efficiently, directly to right drive and folder. This version supports only infrared connections, but datacall is under investigation."
The program is called Beamer.

MMS will shortly be available in Sweden from a provider.

Cool, can you let us know what the costs are like compared to SMS or Data calls (depending on pricing strategy)?

Yes, as soon as the service is released public I will do so...

Ps. I tried it yesterday with an Ericsson T68, it worked really good! I sent a picture and a song to a working pal... ![]()
