Sync issue Outlook, international acces code "+" lost

1 replies · 2,783 views · Started 31 May 2005

Recently I bought a p910. The previous p800 was OK, syncing with old Notes did work good. However I got Notes 6.5 and that didnot work anymore. Why, I don't know ? Does somebody have thoughts for a solution?
I wanted to upgrade, thus it went the p910. Now syncing towards Outlook 2003 the contactdata loses their "+" international access code in the telephonenumber. Not very handy as you travel a lot and want to call abroad. SE helpdesk blames Outlook, MS blames the sync software.
Is it a Outlook or a sync problem ? How to solve it ? Other sync software available ?
Any help is welcome.

Meanwhile I have found a solution for the missing "+" sign. I beamed with infrared the contactdata from the p800 directly to the p910 and then successively sync the p910 with Outlook. Guess what ? It's now OK. 😊 Apparently in the sync from the p800 to Outlook it went wrong previously.
