Delete all messages in Inbox quickly?

Hi all,

Is it possible to clear out the contents of your messaging Inbox, and also the Sent Items in one go? I can't find for the life of me an option to do this, and my phone memory is diminishing quickly!

The 3230 seems to be a very good phone, other than the dust issue - affecting me badly after just two weeks of everyday use (not abuse), and the beep before ring / SMS alert. Sadly my local Nokia Service Centres can't do anything on the spot and want the phone away for up to 2 weeks to fix anything!

Thanks,
Ian

Yes it is, go into your inbox, click options, scroll down to mark/unmark, right arrow and mark all by center pad click, go back into options and select delete, the phone will then work away deleting all you marked. You can do this to any messages and unmark any special ones you need to keep before deleting the rest.

Thanks for that, too used to old style Nokia phones rather than Symbian ones. It takes its time deleting messages doesn't it!

That it does, specially when you have about 500-1000 like i manage, lol. Takes about 5-10 minutes then on my 3650, hopefully the 3230 will be faster.
