Lost USB Connection

Hi, I have a 9300 which is not recognized when I connect it to the USB port anymore.

It used to work fine until I tried to access the Internet using the Nokia Network Bridge and IP-Passthrough. I had little success and now when I connect the USB cable nothing happens, no popup message (using WinXP SP2) no messages about known/unknown hardware, nothing in the Eventlog. The USB ports work as I can plug other devices in without problems.

I then tried removing the Network Bridge software but still no luck. I can connect and sync fine on another machine.

Anyone else experienced this?

Many thanks

Yes, I too have this problem. I reboot my machine and the IP pass-through via bridge works fine. When I disconnect my phone, it will not reconnect properly. There is no acknowledgement from my pc that it has been connected and when I try to connect it seems to work fine, although checking the connection settings, my phone has an IP address that indicates it wasn't assigned one from the DHCP server (169.254.x.x on a 192.168.x.x network). Subsequently, it cannot connect to anything via the PC connection. Also, switching IP Passthrough off, does not establish a PC suite connection as would be expected. The only solution is to reboot the PC to reconnect, which is impractical. My 9500 has firmware 4.44, which may be a factor, but unlikely as the phone still seems to be working OK, but the different software products on the PC are no longer communicating with it.

i have the same problem.. i have to do this..
1. turn off BT on phone & remove BT dongle from laptop.
2. reboot laptop
3. connect BT dongle
4. turn on BT on phone

then only it connects again....

but if u use the cable... no problems at all
