here's an application to help free up memory and get your phone running faster hope it helps

what does it do?
i downloaded,but dont really understand the usage..

is it to end a program that is running?

anything else?

well for some reason nokia thought it was a good idea to not let you exit any of your apps so you use camera ect and it still running when you go back to main menu this app lets you close the programs your not using to free up ram(random access memory) and get your phone running faster ect

That's right, but in addition to the manual I got a single sheet from Nokia saying that if you press for more than 5 seconds the key at bottom right (usually it is the escape button), you activate the same function of closing applications and getting more memory free!

So I guess we don't need that utility! Am I right?

With Switcher, I think, you can select which apps to close. With a long press of the bottom right key, all apps will be closed without any opportunity to choose which one.
