and it says on 6630 that it is a 490MB card? is it like PC memory, you never get the actual full amount of memory?
also ordered a card reader to transfer files across but as luck would have it my standard card became currupted last night so all that data is lost I believe!

Could you possibly share with us where you got the card from and its cost?
u never get the advertised amount because memory manufacturers (every type of memory) measure 1000bytes to a kilobyte but operating systems measure them as 1024 so the bigger your memory you buy, the more u lose. yes everyone hates it. do they know we hate it? yes they do and they are happy too. will they change that in the future? i sure hope so but doesnt look too promising!

Finally they are coming and soon their price's will drop to.
The price of 256mb one's is very good now.
