I have just got a 3230 and the problem with it is that it is showing me a blank screen but i can receive incoming calls and also make outbound calls ..
can anyone of you help me in resolving this problem or atleast explian to me what the problem is ..
Blank Screen but accepts and dials out calls
Broken display or display connector or something to that effect. Best to send/take the phone to your nearest Nokia authorized repair center. If it is really new, you can try if the seller exchanges it directly.
dare i ask a dumb question? How on earth can you make calls with a blank screen, surely you can not see what your doing to select the contact to call or have no idea the number your trying to call? 😮 Or are you hand entering the number to call? As mentioned it sounds like a faulty phone otherwise.
The problem was with the data connector :icon14: that connects to the display ... have got it resolved from the nokia care center ...
and regarding how i made calls . yes i did hand entered .. since i could not use the contact shortcut ...
I am also facing the same problem :icon4: but it is not a continuous thing, the screen goes blank when i try to do some stuff on the phone like write a msg, listen to songs or make calls. I've never dropped my phone, does it happen in that way ? I had bought a 256mb rs-mmc with this & was frequently using it listen to mp3s, does that make a difference to how the phone operates other it becoming slow. Unfortunately, like arjunrawat my phone is not in warranty 😮 so, can someone suggest a cheaper alternative to this as it is really is a hassle to work without any thing on the display. I feel handicapped dude ! :frown: :icon13:
