Wow, was ages since I visited this forum 😊 hello again.
Anyways, believe it or not but I'm still using an old 7650 and my god, what a piece of crap it is! It has worn out so much and is barely usable. I can't always turn it off or on, the keypad feels like crap and the slider is totally pointless as it slides up and down as it wants. So needless to say I'm buying a new phone.
However, I'm not sure what I want. Of course, once you've had a symbian you will never go back. I've been peeking at the SonyEricsson K750i, which seems really good, but the lack of symbian scares me away.
Anyways, when I used to frequent this forum there were only a few Symbian models to choose from. There are plenty now! But I've been eyeballing the Nokia 7610, Nokia N91 and Nokia N90.
The 7610 isn't so much appealing because it has gotten a year old or so by now. So the really interesting ones are N91 and N90 but I really don't like "fold up" phones either so t hat kind of pushes the N90 off the list too. But then we have the N90 that has a similar type of "slider" that 7650 has. So I'm a bit scared that it will wear out and become as useless as the slider on my 7650. But what do you think, does it seem to keep a high quality?
Also, the N90 has a higher resolution display than the N91 which should makes things a lot prettier... but yet again, it's a "fold up" phone 😞
What do you guys think? Can the 4gb harddrive on the N91 be used to store symbian applications too? That would be awesome! Have I possibly missed another phone that could be an even better alternative?
Thanks
