software for 6680

I am using Smart Movie and Its working fine and don't know abt Sele Q bcoz using Fx Exp.

exactly what vicky said. the smartmovie 2.73 is updated to work with the 6680 im running it fine. also as he said fexplorer is the best file browser and its free. www.gosymbian.com

I need help with 6680 PC Suite.

I had my 6680 for a month now and I use it mainly for work. My laptop has got built in bluetooth and got no problem connecting etc. However, although I tried 3-4 different versions of PC Suite I couldnt get the "messaging" to work.

The rest of the Suite works fine, but when I try to send a SMS via PC Suite a window pops up asking for "choose your phone" where my 6680 is greyed out. And you get stuck there.

Did you have anything like this? Could you help.

That text message editor in PC Suite needs a corresponding piece of software on the phone side for it to work. As things are now, such is not available for any Series 60 phones yet and that's why it doesn't work.

In other words, the text messaging feature of PC Suite works today only with Series 40 phones, but I'm pretty sure that'll change at some point.

A workaround, if you run Windows XP on your PC: Set up your phone to show up as a modem to Windows and search for and download "Microsoft SMS Sender" from Microsoft's web site.

smartmovie 2.73 works on 6680 no doubt BUT the movie stutters now and then in a while,geez.... 😎

I'm new to smart-phones and Symbian stuff...

I see the Fexplorer at www.gosymbian.com - but what is it?! How is it different to the file manager that has come on my 6680?

Is there any other 'must have' SIS files that I should get?

FExplorer allows access to every file + it has a bunch of additional built-in features (screen capture, set operator logo, etc.).

Oh right. Cool.

So once I've downloaded the file I use the USB cable to put it into my phone? And then I go to the file on my phone and execute it or soemthing?

I cant get smart movie to work on my 6680.
Try and open it, and nothing happens??
