what is the diffrence between Core OS and the normal software .. is the Core OS a firmware ? becoz we can just see it somehow by ++sp command but we can modify or write as its write protected ... any discussions / guidance plz ???

That's indeed the firmware. A pitty that it is firmware instead of software, I could do really cool things with it. It would have been easier if they just allowed us to download software(firmware) and install it ourselves.

If you want to join me and brake in to a service center we should be able to get it 😉 😉

hahahhaah 😃
and while returning we can touch any bank though 😉
anyways ... here in our country there is a market where every kind of mobile is repaired .... software or harware problem , they are ready to do it .... i asked one of them about firmware .. . they said they get pirated CD,s of firmware, usually come from malaysia .let me see if i can find one , i will deffinatly upload it somehwre for all of us !

Cool, but I think that we can actually just copy the firmware from the Z: drive to the D: drive and then to the PC.

It's just getting your updated firmware back on the phone what causes problems 😉

I am shure you won`t.

Everybody did search for it and ended eigter payng 50$ for upgrade or payng 0 $ and staying with their Firmware

Cool, but while you break in to get the firmware, don't forget to also get the "black box" that's needed to write the firmware upgrade, as to buy one from Nokia (if they were to sell it to you) costs about $10,000. Which is why no-one in the UK except Nokia upgrades the firmwares on the 9210.

"it" (fps-8 ) cost about 800 last time i saw it.. but that's not the reason why no-one else but Nokia upgrades phones..

Yeah, it's because most places dealing with mobile phones in the uk wouldn't have a clue what Firmware is even if it ran up to them and threw a brick in their face.

I remember when I went to local phone shops asking about firmware upgrades when we first talked about them, the idiots in The Link tried to sell me a new phone. *smacks head*
