Almost without thinking, I went out and Purchased an MMC card. The reader/writer is coming in the mail on Monday. Once I get it, what are the must have apps I should get for my QD?

Have a look at our Series 60 freeware article, also download some of the N-Gage game demos and put those on. That should get you started.
