They might, if the developer has done so (and assuming the N-Gage game development SDK and tools allows it). In other words, it may vary from game to game.
On the QD, of course, it doesn't matter because the QD has no stereo sound output hardware.

Stereo isn't all that noticeable when it's coming out of one speaker, but to answer your question, yes, the original does support stereo sound.
