Send Data to your series 60 without using Bluetooth, Cable, GPRS or IR

is this real? not too keen on allowing random site access to a file on my pc....

most likely this is for real.

I once had a Timex Watch that did the same trick (although a bit more primitive).

You had to hold it about 30 cm in front of a monitor and then a build in sensor was used to read the flashing blocks that contained your updated adresses and apointments.

It remains weird though that only a web based sender is available.
As it dous not really has anything to do with FTP or even internet at all.

You just need a program that coverts the data you want to send into a form of barcode (here collored blocks are used). and a piece of sofware on your mobile that uses the camera to covert these barcodes back into usable data.
