6260 and Tungsten T5
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello!
I've been trying now for weeks to connect succesfully my 6260 to my tungsten T5. No luck. After trying every trick in the book (for example looking for the Nokia 6260 init string in the website, to every other init strings posted in different forums) I find myself with the same problem, My T5 can't connect to my Phone using the phone link utility, or GPRS, all settings are correct on the phone. Evenmore, when I do a Zero Out reset on my palm and all settings are back to default something weird happens when I configure manually my palm to use the 6260 as a modem via bluetooth or to use the connection to dial from the PDA, IT WORKS! BUT NOT FOR LONG! I browse the web happily thinking that I resolved the issue, but as soon as I disconnect to the network, and reconnect later it doesn't work (darn!). Everytime I try to connect after the first succesfull connection it gives me the FAMOUS error 0x0305 Faulty modem ... blah blah blah, or unable to connect to phone error. Drivers are not available and hopefully they will be soon, but my question is... If it does connect the first time and works perfectly, WHY DOESN'T WORK THE REST OF THE TIMES?! Please anyone with an answer to this please let me know because it is driving me insane. Also if there is any super- ultra init string, or configuration, anti fail system please let me know
Thx for your patience,
Giacomo
