Need '3' operator Id for Logo

12 replies · 3,087 views · Started 17 June 2005

Can someone please tell me what '3's network id is. I am trying to change my op logo to a fancy three one. But even though opman says it has changed it doesn't appear. But when i put an o2 sim in, then my fancy '3' logo appears.

thanks
p.s my phone is a N6680

I made a nice little logo and I too can't get it to work.

Tell me, does your o2 sim work in your 6680? and if so, how did you unlock it?

Does anyone have a solution to the operator logo saga by any chance?

I have a vodafone 6680 and a 3 6680. I have had the vodafone unlocked, and use my 3 sim card. Yesterday I made a call and when I had finished My 3 logo appeared and stayed on the phone for ages. A soon as I lost my signal it disappeared back to the boring no.3 and hasn't been back since !!!!!!!!!!

p.s
Your Logo is the Mutz. I will use that, just in case

use FExplorer and then open up the picture ( logo ) . Finally. choose file and set as operator logo.

My FExplorer must not be a recent enough version to do the operator logo thing.

I've installed the Logo Manger .SIS program to do it. It still don't work.

I noticed when I had my orange 6680 there was an operator logo setting in a menu somewhere. It's not present on my Three 6680. They must have turned the option off. God knows why...

Nice Operator Logo.

Any idea how I can make it blend in with my theme? My themes colour is red. The Op Logo stands out as a white box in theme. How does one make it transparent with only the logo visible?

I have no idea mate. It was something I knocked up in a matter of minutes with MS Paint. I'm not too hot up on this stuff.

WEIRDEST THING just happened to me. I was on the phone using a bluetooth headset to my friend when...

It just appeared out of nowhere. I finished the convosation, then about 30 secs after I pushed the red key again and it disappeared 😞

Something tells me the firmware is still WELL buggy

PS sorry for the grainy image. Was taken on the spur of the moment with my old 7600!

In what way doesn't it support it? Does the SIM tell the phone to block it?

I've changed my firmware from the supplied 3 one, to the generic one, and I still can't get a bmp oplogo.

As the handset is locked to 3, I can't put another SIM in to see if it IS the SIM or not. 😡

Update.... having just returned from France, I can confirm that the op logos appeared for all 3 networks (I had already stored them before leaving), so it look as though 3 only stop you putting a logo over their network and that of O2 (which also shows up as 3). 😡
