hello : im new here , just got the 6630 in paris france and im veru happey with it, i have a little question regarding to the battrie indecator on the screen :
the first time i charged the phone i let it all night and it was on off mode , after a few houres it beeped and the indicator was full , but i left it for the rest of the night as it was told to me by the resaler on nokia and orange , the next night i wanted ti recharge it again (after spending all day long chaking it and its options... 😉 , so i set it down in the big charger that came with the pohne (the one with the camera) and connectd the charer to the socket and the pohne to the charger cable , and left the phone in ON mode for the night . the next day after the phones alarem woke me up i discoverd that afetr a full night (7 houres ) the battrie is not fully charged and the battrie indector on the screen is still working out like it is during charging , then i disconnectd the phone from the charger and even worse! the battrie indicator was on the lowest level!!! , i have restarted the phone waited few seconds and then the battrie indicator showd full proud and happy , what is thst? is it a little bug? that shouldent make me worry or is it a battrie situation?

thanks

Hi and welcome.....
I have the 6630 and the PT-8 call stand (which is what I assume your taliking about) and have also had problems with the battery charge indicator. It does seem to sort itself out after you turn the phone off and back on again. I think its probably a little bug as the battery life on mine seems to be ok.
I have also had problems answering a call while the phone is on the stand....if you take it off to answer it seems to lock up and doesnt want to answer the call.

I would suggest you see how the battery performs and if its doing ok then accept it as a bug and wait for a firmware change.

i am facing an identical problem with the battery indicator on nokia 6630. Is there a firmware problem?
