My fone hangs at least once a day,
if not, the light wldnt come on when a new call comes in
or the light wldnt go off when i am on the line.
&, for individual caller, the mp3 that i have attached to, doest come on.
Last, whenever i switch sim cards, after the fone starts up, there bound to be a 'all calls diverted' logo.
Would any gurus of this model kindly advise me please? :frown:
Would really appreciate it & many thanks in advance! 🙄
Phone hangs very very often.
Go and get it changed at the store you got from if not try and get the latest firmware.
Also if you cant get another one try unlocking (make it accept any sim card) it after youve updated the firmware. There are sites that calculate codes for you to type in to unlock anyphone plus its free, safe and legal.
I only reccomend this bit though if you dont have any garauntee on your phone or you dont care.
i guess i will go with the latest firm ware update first.
thanks samno!

would anyone be able to explain why the phone comes 'locked' & one has to unlock it?
A "locked" phone refers to a phone that a network operator has bought from a device manufacturer with such a setup that only SIM cards from that operator works in the phone (it is also called a "SIM-lock"😉.
Unlocking refers to disabling the SIM-lock.
An originally unlocked or "SIM-free" phone is one where such a lock has never existed.
"SIM-free" phones are more expensive (most often sold through retail shops/channels rather than operator's own shops or webstores) than locked phones.
Phones with a SIM-lock are cheaper, because the operators believe you will stick with them and their tariffs for the duration of the contract you make with them (e.g., 2 years) in exchange for getting the cheaper (sometimes free) phone. In other words, the operator sells SIM-locked phones for less than what they paid for it. This is called operator subsidy.
Note that with a subsidized phone you will probably end up paying for the phone anyway through more expensive phone bills.
SIM-locked phones can also come with other operator customization (splash screens, wallpapers, fixed home pages, customized keyboard shortcuts, removed apps, operartor's own apps, disabled MP3's as ringtones & other sorts of stuff), which SIM-free/retail phones don't have.
