I am getting the same message in trying to set mp3's as ringtones. "Unable to set as ringtone, file format not supported" I've read other threads about conversions and moving to different folders...none of this has worked. I can convert an mp3 or almost any format (to .wav, to .amr, etc...) but it's a mute point because PC Suite does not recognize those formats to transfer them to the phone. After converting mp3's in Mulitmedia Player, the Transfer Music app in PC Suite does not recognize it to transfer to the phone anymore. So, with that said, if some of you have figured out how to use the mp3's or any other format and actually get them into the phone via pc suite, or any other means....PLEEEEEEEASE help! Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
6620 MP3 Ringtone Problems
Don't use the Nokia Audio Manager/Transfer Music, but use the Phone Browser app in PC Suite to move files to the phone.
