GPRS/MMS on Voadfone - Singlpoint

I was wondering if anyone can help me on this.

I spoke to my service provider today Vodafone/Singlepoint, I asked if I could get GPRS and they said yes they sent me the setting for GPRS by text and said its free until end of December. Now when I go to Services & click on Vodafone live this is what comes up --- GPRS: GPRS not available. Check network services.

Then I ring them back and spoke to them they said to It should work, have u switched ur phone off and back on. I had done that but its still not working.

Can anyone help me with this please.

i had that problem too but then i went to vodafone portuguese web site and from there, after deleting what they have send to me by phone, i send the same files to me again but thist time from the web and it worked. i dont know if u understand what i mean, simply go to your country vodafone site and see if you can send from there the setup files. it worked for me

the reason you can't use GPRS is because SINGLEPOINT has not enabled it to its customers yet. :x

You said that you rang them, i assume that was vodafone not singlepoint. Give singlepoint a ring, the number is on your bills and ask them when they plan to launch GPRS for its customers.

Hope that helps.

I did talk to Singlepoint, they said to me GPRS is working but dont know why its not on your phone. The only thing they said to me is, have u switched your phone off and back on. :agrue:

R they any more Singlepoint users with the same problem. :-?

I spoke to Singlepoint on Tuesday and they told me I can't have GPRS enabled until January?? 😞

stop :agrue: people!!

i had the same probs for a week. heres the facts

to use mms on singlepoint, u need the gprs activated on ur account
ring to check

to use gprs for the internet and wap, now that a different ball game, cos ive played it....

you will need to pay i repeat pay for that service, it costed me 7.99 a month on top of my original tarrif. but the idiots at customer service thought that i needed it for mms, so as usual out came the card. then i spoke to my contact at

phones 4 u
and he said the reason the mms didnt work straight away was cos there was a delay for the service, also not fully true if u register b4 nov 1st the i needed to ring up and reregister for the settings to work. but i think that was because i cancelled the gprs tarrir.

hope this helps u guys

i know how frustrating it is, ive been there

any querys just ask i might b able to help
