Nokia 6600 Updates?

hi guys n girls

i just moved from an SX1 (which i dropped and killed) to a 6600 (i didnt like the SX1 keypad anyway!)

how do i go about getting new firmware updates for the phone?

You need to take your phone to a nokia service centre and they will update it for you. That is the only way.

is it worth updating the phone then? does it cost?

without advertising piracy at all, im supprised someone hasnt ripped the flash off the ROM yet!

It depends what version of firmware you have and if you have any bugs on it that you really want rid of.
It doesn't cost anything whilst your phone is in warrenty, after that I am not sure if the price as I have never had it done.
The equipment to flash a nokia phone is prohibitively expensive, and you nearly ned different equipment for each Nokia phone, hence why service centres do it and it saves anyone from doing it wrong and messing their phone up.
