Please help :frown:

I have a laptop with Bluesoleil (IVT corp) bluetooth usb dongle, software installed ok. Nokia pc suite doesn't recognise it??? N gage PC Suite the same. Is Soleil incompatible with PC Suite?

Also have a PC with Logitech Bluetooth keyboard/mouse USB hub recognises PC Suite and syncs seemlessly with Nokia 6260 but will not sync with N-gage QD, sees it but when I go to install an app to the phone it isn't ticked in the selection and dissappears from the selection of phones to install to. 😡

So Laptop can't sync to any Nokia phones via bluetooth, and PC won't install or sync with Nokia QD.

Any help would be great as I'm sick of Nokia PC Suite & Bluetooth probs.

Many thxs
Paul

I have the same blue tooth device, I too had the problem initially. But, the problem lies with the Soleil driver software. Remove the driver files provided by Blue soleil and connect the blue tooth dongle. Windows will detect the device and install the default windows Blue tooth Driver. This way the Phone will get connected without problem.

Note than then Windows needs to be Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) - other Windows versions do not have built-in Bluetooth drivers.

Ok, I've got exactly the same problems except I've got Windows 2000. Is there any way for me to get PC Suite working?

Sorry for being ignorant and bumping but I didn't get any response to my question + this is better than starting a new thread. Does anyone have any idea how to get PC Suite to recognise a Bluesoleil bluetooth dongle connection on a Windows 2000 PC?
