Well, I'm not going lie to you or make up excuses but it involves supermodels, a top secret government agency, car chases and vast sums of cash changing hands....

Essentially though, one of the servers got fried and Stu's working round the clock to get it fixed. We should have things up and running again by early next week.

Thanks, best of luck with that.

So Stu DOES work for Sendo.

.

No, he doesn't. This is an independant thing set up a bunch of enthusiasts - we don't get any subsidies, freebies or anything like that off of Sendo. The main reason I joined the team was to get the SSC scheme off the ground.

(and, NO, I don't work for Sendo)

Thanks. I suppose we should wait for the Forum contents to be restored before we start using it?

The forum (and user accounts) may not get restored.

That part of the database has proved to be very broken I'm afraid 😞

Hmmm, I hope that can't happen again. I can understand it if a site crashes (for whatever reason), but regular backups should prevent total loss of data. Of course, I know of backups that have been a total waste of time, because they simply don't work, don't report that they fail, and are never tested until they are needed for real.
