My X, bought SIM-free from Expansys UK, has System Version X1.109.5.2 Release 1G, but http://www.sendo.co.uk/Sendo/Support/Downloads.htm has version X.1.98.5.2:60 as the latest.
Can anyone explain their version system?
TIA.

Thanks. So ".5.2" is in fact the important bit?

The higher the number (all of it), the newer the firmware.
So 1.109.5.2 is newer than 1.98.5.2. However 1.109 has not been released as an update version.

So "my" version is later than the one at Sendo after all? Why would it not be released as an update? Is it not from Sendo themselves?
TIA

plinkykev wrote:Yes, that is a slighly newer version, and yes, it is from Sendo.
As I said, it only has one minor fix in it, and so it was decided that there was no point doing a full set of releases just for that little fix.
Ta, even if 109 vs 98 seems like a few versions, and it's still .5.2, which brings me back to where I started, i.e their version numbering.
No need to reply to this!
😃
Sorry, but the .5.2 does not mean it's the same version as 1.98. The versioning works in a different way.
