smart compress at least avaibel!

16 replies · 4,383 views · Started 07 November 2002

long awaiting,but at least avaibel:
The smart compress witch compress the Prog.u do not need imediatly on your phone.

My T-Mobile-app.is now only 95kb. :robot:
a must have for all of us.

bugs:
somethimes at decompress,there is a system-error:
but only exit the s.compress and open again,so all work fine....
if u compress your memory(Ram mean it,not the apps.)
then my phone have a system-error too,
but this feature is even not realy necessairy:
if u reboot your phone,it will be the same, and free some kb.out of Ram.
(but with the 4mb.ram for the 3.6mb.ram it will be not necessairy.)

Ahhh,i simply forget:

here is the link to the most needful app.ever exist!

http://www.smartappz.de/

here we go,enjoy it like i will 😉

ANyway this appl is not a freeware. I wonder it that a demo version or a shareware that will expiry in a certain numbers of days and can not be reinstall again....

Anyone knows??

Just download and install the newer version:

I hope it will help you!

If told you get a 2MB upgrade for your 7650 and it was only going to cost $10 you really go for it wouldn't you? Think of smartCompress like this and you'll see you are getting a bargain. I'm willing to be t they could have sold at double this and still got loads of registrations.

I agree, you've all been complaining about not having enough storage!, well here's the solution. I have been using it for one day and I think it's a great application. It means you can stuff more things on your phone and just unpack them when you need them

It's best for applications around 60~300kb as it compresses them by more than 50%, I have an app on my phone that is around 900kb and when packed it saves me around 170kb which isn't that much compared to the original size, but is handy. 😃

IZZO 😃

just bought smart compress 2day waiting to see when i get it so iwill give my rating and review when i get it!!! 😊

I immediately bought the registration key. Awesome app 😃
Sure a must for the 7650 along with SeleQ and WirelessIRC.

Ciao, Reve

I have installed it on my 7650.
It works but the problem is that after having compress the application the memory of my 7650 is alway the same and not more.
Is it possible that the free download only show the possibility of the software but not really compress?

so does it really compress the drice c: or just the appz only??? im bery curious about is and why doesnt have any expiry date with it??? how long it will last???

interesting!

remember how there was some discussion about asking Ximplify to come up with something like that (!!!)

The Ximplify suggestion was to get more space by removing stuff from flash.

I like the idea of this app, but would prefer it if it could unpack and run in one operation. Call me ungrateful, but it just adds additional clicks and stuff to get your app running. If it gave you icons for your compressed apps, and you ran your app like normal, and smartcompress decompressed it and ran it, then it would be THE app for the 7650

We shall see if a new version will incorporate it.

Mr G

Yep,few more features to smartcompress and it will be an excelent app,the formated flash idea would be vene better 😊
