bought a 7710 just over a month old and big problem, every time i swich the phone on i get a flash of white screen, then after being charged the nokia logo comes up but just a white screen afterwards, nothing seems to be working even the format doesnt work, tried recharging even buying another battery and stil nothing, dont want to take it to nokia cause a friend gave me a quote of 2500 bucks!!!!thats more than what the phone is worth please help me.... pleeeeezzz my life is on that phone and cant get any contacts or reminders cause it is backedup and my other phone well lets just say its a dinosaur

I will disagree with your friend... because the phone has guarantee and if you didn't break it or something else that is harmfull for your Nokia 7710, they will fix it for free...
