So, lets face it, Sendo and the X2 are almost certainly dead (though what happened to the test models that undoubtedly existed????!).
Much as I wanted an X2, practical needs are more important. So, what is the best alternative to the X2's capabilities and features?
It's not the Nokia N91 which although very capable is too heavy and chunky for me, and with a hard disk that is likely to break.
Requirements for me are: stereo music playback in multiple formats, Symbian OS, under 100grams weight (ideally), camera of some sort, not clamshell design.
Not essential, but nice to have: stereo speakers, music playback buttons.
I've considered the Nokia 6681 (too heavy), and Panasonic X700 (clamshell). Any ideas welcomed!

Edit - Ok, didn't catch your edit "I've considered the Nokia 6681 (too heavy), and Panasonic X700 (clamshell)."
Have you looked thru this list?

the nokia N70 looks pretty nice, although it's price tag will be alot higher than the X2's i'm afraid. also, it uses rs-mmc as memory, which is only available up to 512 mb to this moment (being a little thin for mp3 i think)

You'd think that SD was small enough, and the smaller formats tend to cost more per MB too.
