Hi,
I installed the new version of the official Nokia VPN client for 9500, which is finally supposed to be able to connect to ie. CISCO concentrator 3000, but I don't see any changes in that software when compared to older releases.
Manual is also very old, saying only about these Nokia's policy servers etc.
I read all previous posts here about this problem, and I'm asking again: is there any VPN client for NOKIA 9500 which can connetc to ie. CISCO 3000 and not only to NOKIA's specific VPN servers???
Thanks for any help
Kazio
Yes, the client can connect to/through Cisco 3000, but you still need it configured with a VPN policy file (or over-the-air) from a Nokia policy server.

Does that mean, that my organization have to use these Nokia Policy servers?
My situation is as follows: I have Nokia9500 and my organization uses CISCO concentrator 3000. Can I connect there somehow using VPN?

Yes, once you get the VPN client configured.
Currently the only way for doing it is - as far as I know - using the Nokia policy server (or "Nokia Security Service Manager"😉.
Ask Nokia customer support if they can help get the VPN client sw configured: http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,,71519,00.html
You could refer to, e.g., this page http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,6771,43117,00.html which says the client works with Cisco 3000.
