Anyone got picodrive and games working on 7710 ?

7 replies · 5,282 views · Started 02 July 2005

I have installed picodrive on my 7710 and 26 games which i have put into a folder called PDGames as directed.
When i launch picodrive i get a screen which says 'load rom' but when this is pressed nothing happens.
How do i get picodrive to find the roms ??

what version of picodrive did you install ??
try the last version 0.4 (support zip files)
if you have version 0.2 you have to unzip the files
and put it's in the PDGames
tip:
if you use the ver 0.4 (support zip files)
unzip the files too, it's speed the loading time

Thanks blueredman,

Stupid me, forgot to unzip the files, no wonder they would not work !!!

Got them working now but the version of picodrive is 02 so i will have to try and find the newer version, no sound though, is this normal ?

Just got to sort out the tom tom 5 now, still not got it running.

Now, whats next !!

😉 , you have the old version( no sound )
the new version support sound (partial sound) because there
is no Z80 emulation

The start button is the green button on top to answer a call, it also took me a long time to find it out hehhe
