Tried it, works fine, looks nice, has standard BL-5C battery inside, works with Nokia charger, stick with Nokia 😊)

Can somebody tell me if there is a big quality diference between the Nokia Wireless GPS Module LD-1W and one of the other cheaper versions that are
on the market?

I do have the software and the phone, but who can advise me?

i used one of the �50 efforts off ebay with an external aerial that uses the same battery as the nokia fone. i think the more satellites and shorter startup times to get a signal are the most important things. Miworks fine no probs and came with an in car charger too (again a nokia part).

this is the item. the external aerial (if required, my car has a heat reflective windscreen so couldnt get a signal) was about a tenner extra. my freind has the balck version and they both work with our fones (his is an ngage qd)
