one way is to make a 'dummy' call and use the camera during the call
I've found two ways to get rid of the shutter sound. Perhaps the easier one is to just attach the headphones, though it doesn't actually remove the sound, it will make it play through the headphones instead of the loudspeaker. Other way is to put the audio player playing something muted while taking the picture. It's not enough to just set the players volume to muted, it has to be playing something too.
