According to Expansys the D-Link DBT-120 USB bluetooth adapter/dongle gizmo will work with Nokia 7650's... but after some considerable searching around on various boards and websites I have found NO user comments regarding this.

BTW... Cheapest price for this is: 35 @ DABS.com
...they also have others like the Bluetake one which has support for Nokia 7650 but you need to fiddle with the settings.. its ALL nicely described on their homepage 😃 So saves ppl in here getting bogged by it!

blah...blah...blah...
why wont anybody help this guy out??
i need this info on this particular device aswell.
ive done a search and there are very useful solutions to general BT issues and manufacturer specific issues.
but this was the only thread with the device name i wanted, but i was shocked to see that no one had replied and especially knowing how helpful you people can be.
i need to know any issues with this device regarding connections, compatibility and anything i need to know, which includes solutions to the problems.
please i know you can do it....dont dissapoint me 😃 😃
why dont you go for the MSI BT USB from www.scan.co.uk ? Its in a similar price and it works just fine!
thanks for the reply 😃
i'm checking the site out, but i cant seem to find the BT adapter and the search is offline aswell...can you direct me?
does this actually work perfectly with the 7650 and all its relevant software?
p.s...this is my first registered post...hi everyone 😃
hope this isn't too late.
i have the dlink one and it works fine. few tiny issues but nothing that will effect the usability. they are more wildcom issues that will get resolve later i think with newer drivers. make sure you use the latest drivers not the ones off the cd.
if you get it remeber to do the regedit.
its just in time, thanks mate 😃
i figured that i would need to download drivers...typical 😊
what reg key do i need to edit?
im on win xp pro....any issues with that?
just get any one that supports the widcomm stack
search for bluetooth and i guarantee you'll find the rather extensive thread on the subject telling you the reg key to change
yah i'm using xp pro too.
