Could someone please tell me what are the major drawbacks of nokia 3230 ? I'm thinking of buying this phone.
What are drawbacks of 3230 ?
there are two as i see it.. (possibly 3)
1. the dust gets into the screen VERY quickly... .altough it is easily fixed if you dont mind opening your phone up... just place some closed-cell foam around the screen..
2. It physicially WILL NOT.. recieve a text in vibrate only.. it adds a damn "beep" then vibrates... with no-way to turn it off .. so at work you either look embarrased iwht a "beep" or you have no notification of texts.
3... the camera takes around 6 secs to take a photo.. the actual aperture time is quick but everything freezes up for 6secs and u have to stand there and wait for it to do its thing.. but i got used to that... see photos of edinburgh anarchist marches yesterday i'm adding!

Is the mp3 player ok ? I've heard that its mono. Does that make a big difference to the sound ?
i dont use it as an mp3 player... i have an iriver h320....
but the mp3 quality... is.. well... pathetic!!
its not just mono.. but its tinney .. i'm sorry i'm not gonna describe it.. its too horrific!!!

You may Check out my rant here... Would hate to CCP it... Apart from that, A GREAT Phone!!!
isn't it possible to edit profiles so that it only vibrates while in quite mode, im sure its possible, well hopefully a firmware update will fix that problem , however i doubt such a silly problem exists.
