Operator logo for nokia 3230, mobile operator-Airtel, Delhi, India

i have jus purchased nokia 3230 my mobile operator in my country is Airtel, Delhi.
I had followed the instructions as given on this forum but unfortunately its not working. was wondering whether the given procdure works for nokia 3230.
kindly provide me with solution

What instructions did you follow, exactly?

The simplest way is to install FExplorer (http://www.gosymbian.com/) and take any image (best is, of course, if it is already correct size) and use FExplorer to select the image file and then in its "File" menu use "Set as operator logo".

However, note that if the phone is an operator branded/customized model, the operator may have purchased devices where operator logo changing has been disabled.

after doing lot of search i found that the picture that goes into the folder oplogo should end with .mbm and not .bmp

i m using nokia 6680, i followed all instructions, it just doesnt work, but at the same time it does work with 3650, in 3650 .bmp files work, but with nokia 6680 only .mbm files seem to work, want to change the logo in 6680, plz help, or can anyone tell how to create .mbm files, plz mail me at [email][email protected][/email]
