Motorola Announces Availability of Push-To-Talk over Cellular Clients for Symbian Mobile Devices

Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) software is being offered to users of Symbian and UIQ mobile devices, Motorola has announced.

According to Motorola its PoC Clients for the Symbian Series 60 and UIQ devices will enable users to benefit from mobile messaging along with voice communication. The PoC Clients are said to work with Symbian handsets from other manufacturers and enable users to participate in walkie-talkie type communication with individuals or groups. Features include automatic configuration, automatic updates and over-the-air installation and operators can use Motorola's customization program to personalise the client with corporate logos and colours.. ...
