Anyone tried this? I think it might be possible to get the same size jack from Maplin. Anyone seen a four pole jack?
Or would a handsfree car unit be a good idea?
I'd like to listen to my MP3s or OGGs in the car or on loudspeakers.

I bought a 3-pole 3.5 to 2.5mm jack plug. It worked fine untill last week...Somehow it doesn't connect with the interior of the phone correctly anymore, so now I have low volume mono-output... :frown: Oh, and my original headset doesn't work at all...But I guess it should work for you.
I bought a an adapter too, but mine has always played low volume mono.

Sorry to hear that.
Is that due to the jack? I would like to know because I do not want to damage the 'phone.

I also recommend http://pc-mobile.net/mp35a.jpg . The plug and socket are both gold-plated. The small plug fits perfectly into the recessed socket on the Sendo. The 90-deg angle of the plug and the cable means that the phone with adaptor fits easily in your pocket and there is no leverage on the Sendo socket likely to damage it. I use this adaptor with earphones, with a 3.5mm cable I fitted to my car player, and with a twin-phono/3.5 mm adaptor into my hi-fi system at home.
