Unable to use SIM card

Hi all, I have just brought a sendo x off ebay and i want to use my o2 sim in the phone, but when i put it in i get a message saying "Unable to us SIM card". I have the unlock code from vodafone and have put it in and it says that network restrictions have been lifted but still won't execpt my o2 card. Any ideas???
