Hello All,

I just bought a Nokia 6620, my goal was to replace my old Sony Clie PDA. I am still undiceded if this can do it. My new phone has more memory, etc. with a few extra bell and whistles such as the phone and mp3 capabilities but I am finding that it may be weak in the software area.

I need to have a tool that will allow me to syncronize my Contacts, Tasks, Schedule, etc. with Outlook or at least to my PC with a Nokia / other software package. I thought Noia PC Suite could do this. It seems program will only sync contacts I have placed in my phone already or just allow me to add contacts. I should be able to edit the contacts, tasks, schedule, etc.

Can anyone advise me on what software preferable free, that can do this?

I also need a password lock program that will protect my data from unwatned users, can you adise in that too, preferable free..

thaks you can get me at [email protected]

thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply!

I did download this software and install it. It seem that all I can do is add a contact (1 by 1). There is no option edit them or to add tasks, schedules, etc. Maybe I am missing something or doing something wrong.

I am new to this but if there is any directions or steps that I am mising please share.

Thanks greatly!

If you use the PC Sync feature, you edit your contacts, tasks and calendar appointments in Outlook.

The PC Suite Contacts Editor is more for editing contacts directly on the phone through the PC. And there is no corresponding calendar/tasks editor apps. The idea is that most people just would synch with Outlook or Lotus Notes/Organizer (and that's what you were originally asking about yourself: "to syncronize my Contacts, Tasks, Schedule, etc. with Outlook "😉.
