cardo scala 500 bluetooth headset not working with siemens sx1

I just got a new siemens sx1 with firmware 12 & i can't get the cardo scala 500 bluetooth headset to pair with the siemens sx1.
I checked @ the cardo scala website & the sx1 is compatible with it.
Any ideas????
