Need Help On Internet

I just got my phone today, and I was wondering how the heck could I get the internet to work on it... I have earthlink service and I tried to connect it gave me an error about "Problem communicating with Internet service's modem" what should I do?

Have you gone to Extras->InternetSettings and configured a new Internet Access Point? You will need to give the phone all of the dialup information for Earthlink.

The most important part is the modem selection.
(important because relevant to your error 😉 )
Check if the maxspeed is correct.
Check the modem settings 2.

It often happens that your cell phone company has to give you the parameters in order to use the network to surf the net.Here in italy they even give you another number which is only for data calls!So check your company!!!!! 😃

tell me man.. i heard that the max speed is 9.6 Kbps.. is that true ?! :roll:
i'm waiting to get a Data line from the operator, just to connect..

PS! what kinda of modem is in the 9210i??

I use HSCSD(HighSpeed) + ISDN V.110 which gives me a speed of 38400.

But not all operators provide High speed internet. The normal speed and settings are 9.6kbps with a anlogue modem.
