T9 for SMS

I'm not able to find T9 (intuitive writing) functionality on SMS writing. Some specialized mobile web site said that T9 is running on Nokia 9300. I checked within manual instruction and Nokia web site and I didn't find any reference to this functionalty...it is very strange that this "king" of device doesn't support T9 sms writing...

Someone has more detailed information or how to activate the T9 writing?

Thanks in advance for all!!

I have certainly never found any or seen any reference to T9 on the 9300 and really don't believe there is this functionality on the handset.

With a full keyboard on the phone I think we can understand why it doesn't anyway and certainly makes sense in my opinion.

There just is no T9 on the 9300. As skisfubar stated, who needs it, qwerty keyboard on the inside 😉

I need it,

It's not always easy or wise to open the phone to write a txt message,

So sometimes I write a message on the front, which without T9 is a pain, my 6230 has T9, so swaping between the 2 get's confusing,

Carl,

I did the same thought with regard of the possibility to use the internel keyboard on writing sms without T9...but sometimes if you need to write from the front-side and a T9 would work very helpfull!!!!!

Thanks again for the answer...
